Sim-Server.ear File Is Not Coming to Active State (Doc ID 1968808.1)

Goal

This document explains why the SIM-SERVER.EAR file is not coming to an Active state while trying to start it from prepared state.

The SIM log file contains the following errors:

Error 1

Received exception while creating connection for pool "[...SimDataSource...]": Listener refused the connection with the following error:ORA-12514, TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor [...]
Caused By: oracle.net.ns.NetException: Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12514, TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor [...]
Caused By: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor33.invoke(Unknown Source) [...]

Error 2

Caused By: weblogic.security.internal.encryption.EncryptionServiceException: com.rsa.jsafe.JSAFE_InputException: Invalid input length for decryption.Should be a multiple of the block size - 16. [...]
