Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.1.7 to 13.1.9 [Release 13.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

For pack items, POSUPLD creates a reject (.rej) file containing the pack item, but writes no error log and still processes the data for the pack item into TRAN_DATA.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Run POSUPLD with a sale of a pack item with total component retail of 0. There is a 1004 in-house discount in the detail line.
2. Actual results:
    a.  Reject (.rej) and .failed files are created, but no error log. Log indicates "Thread 1 - Terminated Successfully with rejected records"
    b.  Pack component sale data is created in TRAN_DATA and no data was actually rejected.
3. Expected result:  No reject file is needed in this scenario.
