(Doc ID 1980066.1)
Last updated on MARCH 03, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 5.0.2 to 5.0.2 [Release 5.0]
Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.1 to 6.0.1 [Release 6.0]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
After patching Network Charging and Control (NCC) to version 184.108.40.206, osdInterface will start throwing the following errors with high frequency:
Jan 16 03:11:29 SLC01 osdInterface: [ID 675952 user.error] osdInterface(27712) ERROR: Could not bind to UNKNOWN at port 0: Unknown error (port <IP>:7000 ignored)
Jan 16 03:11:30 SLC01 osdInterface: [ID 675952 user.error] osdInterface(27713) ERROR: Could not bind to UNKNOWN at port 0: Unknown error (port <IP>:7001 ignored)
Although unsightly, functionally osdInterface itself does not behave any differently to pre-220.127.116.11 versions of osdInterface.
Installation or upgrade of NCC to 18.104.22.168.
