Tran Code 22 Posted for Receiving Location in Sending Location's Currency (Doc ID 1980256.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, the TRAN_CODE 22 (inventory adjustment) that is posted against the receiving location when over-receiving or under-receiving a transfer is posted with the currency of the sending location.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a transfer/allocation with 'from' location as WH and 'to' location as a store.
Make sure the sending location currency is the same as the system currency, and that the receiving location has a different currency.
  2. Approve transfer/allocation.
  3. Fully ship the transfer/allocation.
  4. Receive more than or less than the expected quantity. This causes an entry in TRAN_DATA with tran_code 22 at the receiving location; however, this entry is not in the receiving location's currency.
