ORPOS Fails to Export Return and Exchange Transaction to RTLOG When Item Is Associated with Set Price Change and Clearance Events (Doc ID 1981841.1)

Symptoms

The RTLOG generation for a return with receipt transaction containing a clearance sale item fails with error below:

 

"ERROR 2015-01-14 09:24:26,156 52559  (RTLogExportDaemon:oracle.retail.stores.exportfile.formater.FieldFormat):

     [oracle.retail.stores.exportfile.formater.FieldFormat.checkForNumeric(FieldFormat.java:353)]

     Numeric FieldFormat object 'UnitRetail' contains the non-numeric value -9."

 

Steps to Reproduce :

1. Import an item with an initial price (say $6.97).
2. Import a price change starting on, say Feb 14th, with a price of (say $12.00).
3. Import a Clearance price change of (say $9.99) starting from, say Feb 16th.
4. Perform a sale of the item on Feb 16th fo, say $9.99.
5. Perform a Return with Receipt of above transaction.
6. Note that the RTLOG fails to generate with TR_TRN.ID_BTCH_ARCH value of -2.
