Duplicate Records Are Created in RK_PRICE_CHANGE Table When Clearances Are Modified in Retail Price Management (Doc ID 1982994.1)

Symptoms

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release SIM 13.2.9.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

When the details (dates, percentage off) of a clearance/promotion are changed in Retail Price Management (RPM), the RK_PRICE_CHANGE table is not correctly updated.


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a clearance/promotion in RPM and approve it.
2. Modify the clearance/promotion created at step 1:  Change it back to worksheet, make some changes (dates, percentage off), and re-approve the clearance/promotion.
3. Check RK_PRICE_CHANGE table in SIM.
4. Notice that there are 2 lines for the same clearance: one with details from step 1 and one with the details from step 2.  Both have the status 5.
