Cdr_pub_security_pkg.removegrproles API Always Returns 'S'

On Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub (LSH)  2.3.0:

The cdr_pub_security_pkg.removegrproles API never fails and it always returns 'S' as return status.

Expected output: This output parameter returns the end status of the API: (S) Success, (E) Error or (U) Unexpected Error.

This API is used to remove a single Role from a User Group.


Steps to be executed in order to reproduce the issue:


I. Preconditions:


1 . Make sure that role_id = 2222 is not associated with user_group_id=2101 by executing the following query:



Expected results :


  "E" error code should be returned as the role_id = 2222 is not associated to user_goup_id=2101 ( as verified in Preconditions section).

Actual result:
