Asset Class Weighting Field LOV Button is not Displayed (Doc ID 1984999.1)

Symptoms

When clicking the Weighting field on the Asset Class header, the LOV button does not show up. If trying to enter any value, the following error is displayed:

FRM-40200:Field is Protected Against Update


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Go to Resource>Asset Class Module.
2. Open an Asset Class Record.
3. Click the Weighting field on the Asset Class Header.
4. The LOV button does not show up. Try to enter something and error referenced above is displayed.
