Symptoms
On : 12.1.3.8 version, MSC 12.1.3 with VCP 12.1.3.8 Patch 14247039, running DRP plan options we tested the Fair Share Allocation Method setting it to Current Demand Ratio. We are not seeing any results from applying this option. We set up a scenario where the first period has less supply than demand expecting fair share to use the demand ratio calculation to assign the supply to the organization with the highest demand for that planning period in accordance to the user quide documentation.
The results was the supply was assigned to the Organization with lower demand for the first planning period. This was the initial result as well prior to using the fair share option.
