Currency Conversion (Exchange Rate) Is Not Rounding Correctly, Leaving Balance Due on Transaction (Doc ID 1985726.1)

Symptoms

In an Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) 14.0.x VAT environment, in some cases, tendering by foreign currency is not rounding correctly.  This is leaving balance due in the transaction total.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to ORPOS.
  2. Add item to transaction.
  3. Make price override to $38.00.
  4. Press Tender.
  5. Choose foreign currency - CAD.  At CAD Currency screen the CAD equivalent amount is displayed.
  6. Choose Cash and give CAD equivalent amount; press next.
  7. Note that POS remains on the tender options screen with a balance due of 00.1 USD to the customer.  It is expected that POS should complete the transaction without any balance due to the customer.
