Information in this document applies to any platform.
When Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 5.7 is used, we are unable to set the Linux kernel parameters as per ASAP 7.2 Installation Guide.
When we tried to set the kernel parameters (fs.file-nr = 8192 0 327679 and fs.mqueue.msg_max = 32767), we received the following exceptions respectively.
1. error: permission denied on key 'fs.file-nr'
2. error: "Invalid argument" setting key "fs.mqueue.msg_max"
