Symptoms

Event Details (Picklist) comments overwrite behavior if both users save Event Details.

When two users open Event Details on the same event, there is currently no check when saving to prevent critical information from being overwritten. If both Curt and Andy open event 101, and Curt types "Hello from Curt" in the comments and clicks save, the comment is successfully saved. However, Andy has not seen this comment and does not know it is there. Andy types "Hello from Andy, no idea where Curt is" in the comments and clicks save. This overwrites the existing "Hello from Curt" data and replaces it with Andy's comment only.

There should be a check mechanism that validates that the data Andy started with is the same as what is currently in the database before overwriting, else an error should be thrown to prevent loss of critical data.

Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. 2 users open Event Details and enter comments.
2. The 1st user saves and then the 2nd users saves. The 2nd user save overwrites what the 1st user saved.
