Symptoms
Customer is trying to update the characteristic which is defined as readonly from the ruleset.
Getting the Error when updating.

Customers requirement is from UIM UI the Filed should not be editable but whereas the field should be updatable from other means like rulesets.
Additionally,
This functionality works in 7.2.0.2.15,in customers current production version.
After upgrading to 7.2.4.1, customer is getting the error "Characteristic 'Block Operator ID ' is a ReadOnly field".
