Customer ID Column Type Mismatch Between ReSA and RA Tables Results in Record Rejection in SDE_Retail_SalesTransactionFact Job
Last updated on AUGUST 17, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Retail Merchandising Insights - Version 13.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
In Retail Merchandising Analytics (RMA) 13.2.4, the column CUST_ID_NO of the XTERN_RDWT table is a number type, while the source column for this in the Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) CUST_ID in table SA_CUSTOMER is an alphanumeric value. This causes the records that contain alphanumeric value to get rejected in RMA job SDE_Retail_SalesTransactionFact.
Steps to Reproduce:
- In ReSA table SA_CUSTOMER, place alphanumeric values in the CUST_ID column.
- Run RMA job SDE_Retail_SalesTransactionFact.
- Check that these values get rejected because CUST_ID_NO of XTERN_RDWT table is a number type.
