When we release work orders from ASCP, the WIP supply type for the components are getting defaulted from Item master setup and not from the BOM but when we release work orders manually(not from ASCP) the wip supply types are getting populated from BOM. We need to fix ASCP issue so that supply types will always gets defaulted from the BOM.
When we change the completion date or qty on a planned order, it keeps the supply type as "Push" which is correct. But if we release a planned orders as it is without touching any data then it changes the supply type to " Assembly Pull" which is incorrect.
We need to fix ASCP issue so that supply types will always gets defaulted from the BOM.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Release Planned orders from Planner's workbench
2. Validate Work order component's supply type.
