Design Studio Does Not Package Up The Compiled Source Into A Jar File For An SRT Cartridge (Doc ID 1989797.1)

Last updated on MARCH 11, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Design Studio - Version 7.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On DS 7.2.4 version, Activation Services:

Design Studio does not package up the compiled source into a jar file for an SRT cartridge.

When attempting to uplift an old non studio SRT cartridge into Design Studio, the src directory which contains code to perform custom lookups gets compiled upon building the cartridge but then does not get packaged into a jar file and hence this jar file does not get pulled into the final sar file.

This can be seen as the <DS_Project>\out\com\mslv\asap\srt\common\SRTCommon.class is generated but the <DS_Project>\lib directory is empty.

When the same code is pulled into a Network Activation cartridge this gets compiled and packaged into a jar file.
