Unable To Approve a Clearance When Item/Location Was on a Customer Segment Promotion That Ended the Previous Day

In Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM) 13.2.x, we are unable to approve a clearance when the item/location is on a customer segment promotion, even if the clearance starts after the promotion end date.   This is not a problem when the promotion is not linked to a customer type.

Steps to Reproduce:


  1. Create a customer segment simple promotion component for a parent item/zone and approve it.
  2. Create a clearance for the same parent/zone and set the effective date to promotion end date + 1.
  3. Approve the clearance.
  4. Note that the clearance stays in worksheet status.
