Parameters Passed in the ON Parameter List for Different Real Time Wallet Notifications (Doc ID 1990189.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.0.0 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Purpose

When Real Time Wallet Notifications (RTWN) in Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) are sent from the Voucher Wallet Servers (VWS) to the Service Logic Controllers (SLC), it is possible to extract further information from the RTWN in a Control Plan.

This can be done by iterating through the ON_Parameter_List elements (ON Parameter Profile Field) using the Iterator (ITRT) node:

ON_Parameter_List (on the wire)

Iterator Node

As can be seen in the example ON_Parameter_List, the parameter names are non-descript and merely an incrementing identifier.  This Reference article will explain what each of the ON_Parameter_Name/ON_Parameter_Value pairs represent for each RTWN type.

Scope

This article is aimed at NCC users who understand how to use RTWNs and are competent in Control Plan design.
