ASCP Is Splitting The Pegged Quantity Into Fractions
(Doc ID 1991273.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
ASCP seem to show incorrect pegging - splitting the pegged qty into fractions for the same supply
example
Part#10017676-001 has two Work Order demands:
1.From assembly 10017673-001 which has WO#17077403 for qty 4.This WO needs 4 of component 10017676-001 but 3 of these are already issued to the WO
so the WO demand for 10017676-001 now = 1.
2.From assembly 10017673-001 which has WO#17206564 for qty 4.This WO needs 4 of component 10017676-001 and all of the quantities are open
so the WO demand for 10017676-001 originating from this WO is 4.
Component 10017676-001 has a WO#17079385 for qty 2 and the pegging shows this information
1.Qty 1 of this WO pegged to WO demand of 4 originating from WO 17206564 (point 2 above). This is correct
2.Qty .25 of this WO is pegged 4 times to WO demand of 1 originating from WO 17077403 (point 1 above) instead of showing 1 line of qty 1
of this WO pegged to qty 1 of WO demand originating from WO 17077403 .This appears to be incorrect - we expect the qty 1 to be pegging to a single end demand.
There are no order modifiers on either 10017673-001 or 10017676-001
Shrinkage rate is not setup for either 10017673-001 or 10017676-001
Yield = 1
