Last updated on FEBRUARY 12, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2.4 to 14.1 [Release 13.2 to 14.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An inventory adjustment getting sent to Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) for a Physical Warehouse is getting created in RMS against an unrelated Virtual Warehouse.
This is happening consistently for the same set of items.

Steps to Reproduce/Example:

  1. Have an item which is active across all the Distribution Centers (DC).
(Physical WH1 has 2 Virtual WH 1 and 2; Physical WH 2 has 1 Virtual WH)
  2. Send an Inventory Adjustment for Physical WH 1.
  3. Send an Inventory Adjustment for Physical WH 2.
  4. Notice that the Adjustment sent for Physical WH 1 is posted correctly against its primary Virtual WH 1, but the Adjustment sent for Physical WH 2 is posted incorrectly against its primary Virtual WH 1 associated with Physical WH 1.
