Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), we find that no TRAN_DATA record is inserted in the table for transfers made through an external shipment for deposit container items.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Check for existing deposit container (non-inventory item) item using:
    select * from item_master where DEPOSIT_ITEM_TYPE='A' ;

  2. Create any transfer with such item at detail level.
  3. Simulate shipment from external systems sending message to be processed by rms.rmssub_asnout.consume.
  4. Check stock on hand (SOH) for deposit container item in from_location. It is decreased.  Accordingly, after receipt SOH for deposit container will be increased in to_location.
