Symptoms

Replenishment constant and min max methods generated too high ROQ values.


Instructions to Re-create:

1.Range items A,B,C to the Warehouse (Wh1), and Stores 1,2,3,4,5.
2.Let B and C be substitute to A at Wh1.
3.Let Stock On Hand (SOH) at Wh1 be A-250, B-100, C-100.
4.Let SOH at the Stores for A,B,C be zero.
5.Let the ROQ for A at each of the stores be 100.
6.Now run the replenishment batches until Reqext batch.
7.The total ROQ of the item at all stores > SOH at the WH and item should have a substitute item set-up.
