Goal

There is  business requirement to segregate GL Reports based on Service Type.

Business Scenario
============

Business has many services like mobile, fixed-line, broadband etc and more than one service may be present under same account number. These services shares common Products, hence common GLIDs and GLAccounts.

Our customized GL reporting engine uses OOTB general ledger reports as feed to convert OOTB XMLs into the our desired XMLs/CSVs which goes as a feed to external systems.
OOTB reports have only following identifiers –
o GL Segment
o Revenue Type
o GL Account
o GLID

There is no reference/details available in these OOTB general ledger XML files associated with account/service. OOTB reports takes GL segment as input parameter and extract/aggregate revenue on the basis on GLIDs for the reporting period.
Since GL segment is defined as account level in BRM (not service level), same Customer can have more than one service (mobile/Fixed-line/Broadband).


Is there any available solution to cater to above requirement of including Service level details in OOTB GL XMLs ?
