Error 'System could not process your request' encountered when installing Unifier Applications (Doc ID 1993993.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When installing Applications in Unifier, an error 'System Could not process your request' is displayed and the logs show a message "java.io.IOException: No such file or directory "


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Applications should be able to be installed without errors.

STEPS
-----------------------
If the Temporary Directory field is blank or the path entered during Configure.bat does not exist on the Unifier server, the issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Unifer at the Site Administration level
  2. Click on Application and click Install button
  3. Click Browse and choose the .zip file for the application
  4. Fill in the rest of the details and click Install
