Unable to Use 'ß' Special Character in the Item Description

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On Oracle Retail Back Office (ORBO), users are not able to search for an item that contains the character 'ß' in its description.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Log into Back Office.
- Navigate: Item > Search > Enter an Item Number (ex: 6299) -> Search.
- Modify the 'Description' and 'Long Description' to "ßàâäçèéëñóöü" > Save.
- Enter 'ßàâäçèéëñóöü' in the Description field -> Search.
- Note that "There were no results matching he specified criteria" message is displayed.
