Last updated on MAY 15, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Memory Based Planner

Users are on 12.1.3 and have applied VCP 12.1.3.5 Patch 12695590. Users are running an unconstrained plan. They see planned orders for supply created way beyond the need date for the demand and they note the Planning Time Fence (PTF) date is much greater than the number of days calculated from the organization item attributes in the source instance. The planned orders in question will become internal requisitions. The users also have profile MRP:Firm Internal Req Transferred to OE = Yes in the ASCP instance

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect planned orders to honor the planning time fence but the calculation of the planning time fence date should be accurate based on number of days set in the organization item attributes

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run unconstrained ASCP plan
2. Review workbench output
3. See planned orders for supply due out much further than expected based on ASCP calculated PTF date
