Shipment Remains in 'I' Status When Total Zero Qty Is Received (Doc ID 1996723.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 14.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) integrated with Store Inventory Management (SIM), shipments continue to be in 'I' status when total zero qty is received.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a transfer in legacy system and integrate into RMS as an EG (Externally Generated) transfer.
  2. It becomes available in WMS where it is shipped to a store. (create a shipment)
  3. In SIM, make the total qty to be received as zero. SIM sends the quantity 0 to RMS.
  4. Note that in RMS, the shipment is not updated to 'R'.  This happens only when TSF_AUTO_CLOSE_STORE='N'.
