PI CCSCD1=DEL Command Does Not Purge Buckets From Non-Initial VWS Pairs/Domain (Doc ID 1997113.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.0.0 to 5.0.2 [Release 4.0.0 to 5.0]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Symptoms

In all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC), a problem exists when running multiple Voucher Wallet Server pairs/domains where the Provisioning Interface (PI) CCSCD1=DEL command fails to delete Wallet, Balance, and Bucket information from the BE_* tables after deleting the subscriber/account information from the CCS_* tables from all non-initial pairs/domains.

This leaves orphaned data in the BE tables which can only be manually removed using SQL queries.

Changes

Addition of second VWS pair and the use of the CCSCD1=DEL command to remove provisioned subscribers from the second VWS pair.
