Calendar Server 7 And MacOS Yosemite Calendar.app -- Error 500 Being Returned From Server

Symptoms
NOTE: The problem description follows the troubleshooting described in Calendar Server 7 (CalDAV) - How to Document a Problem with a CalDAV Client (Doc ID 1296546.1).
After installing a new Calendar Server 7U4 (7.0.4.14.0) instance on an existing Comm Suite LDAP DIT:
CalDAV client
The problem is described with using the newer Mac OS Calendar application.
A dialog appears:
“500”
to operation CalDAVRefreshDelegateListQueueableOperation
Glassfish Server
server.log
Each of the end-user dialogs is associated with a server.log entry that notable in the following ways:
- "WARNING"
- "PWC1406"
- "DavServerlet threw exception".
Here is an example:
Calendar Server logs
No calendar server log entries will be associated with the problem, because the request fails before any loggable events are triggered in at the application (Calendar Server).
Changes
This problem is associated with Calendar Users that are using delegation in the Mac OS calendar client.
