Applies to:
Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management - Version 7.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
1) You want to understand the ADMINSTATE and OBJECTSTATE state machines (states and transitions/triggers) of the following entities:
* TELEPHONENUMBER
* TNCONSUMER
* SERVICE
as well as how the state machines may *INTERACT* with each other (dependency).
2) Also, you need to understand the above in the context of the expanded PORTED assignment state (PORTED was not initially in UIM).
* Which of the above states are (meant to be) automatically managed by UIM (by default, if not overridden)
* Which of the above states need to be programmatically manipulated (I am not referring to overriding the default UIM functionality).
