User  wants an option(in MSS 6.2.1 ) in the window "Build Virtual Ports" to give Node Address number From and To , so that the virtual ports may be built only for those ports randomly as per the need.

This is required in the following scenarios:

1)Suppose, if the user's requirement is to build only 4 virtual ports with addresses N3, N4, N5 and N6 out of 20. ,then a possible work-around is to rename the already created ones. But if there is an option where the user can put a range of ports to be created like for this Start  Range =3 and End Range=6 , then its much easier and efficient .

2)Secondly , absence of this functionality is also causing unnecessary creation of multiple virtual ports when the requirement is to build only few virtual ports out of the total. For example :sometimes user needs specific Node Address (say N7 referring to this example). Now going by the current functionality , it can be done either by the work-around of renaming ports or creating ports sequentially from N1 to N7 only to use N7 with ports N1 to N6 not required.
