ReconfigGlobalDomainPartitions Fails with HierarchyException When a New Subclass Is Not in the Reconfig Input Xml File (Doc ID 2000018.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add/move a partition position to an existing or new local domain, the following error occurs:


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a data file prod.dat that adds two partition positions.  Place it in the $DOMAIN/input folder.
  2. Place the reconfigGlobalDomainPartitions input file reconfigpartdim.xml in the $DOMAIN/interface folder, specifying only one of the new partition positions.
  3. Run the reconfigGlobalDomainPartitions using -add or -input.
  4. Notice that it fails with exception advising users that they need to run reconfigGlobalDomainPartitions to add new partition positions.
