Symptoms

There are a number of issues that have been seen when the clocks are moved forward by an hour when transitioning to Daylight Saving Time. This knowledge article will describe each and provide bug tables so you can determine which release to upgrade to in order to avoid these issues.

  1. Scheduled jobs may run an hour late due to failure to adjust for the "spring forward" time change due to Daylight Saving Time.
  2. Scheduler jobs on some instances appear stuck or run repeatedly following the change to or from Daylight Savings Time. Note that this occurs due to flaws with the fix for defect responsible for the previous issue.
  3. For ATG Search the next occurence of a scheduled job is calculated incorrectly.
  4. For ATG Search the indexing scheduler runs an excessive number of times which is due to a flawed fix for the previous issue.
