NullPointerException when Sending An Appointment Booking Request To MWM (Doc ID 2004137.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 24, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.4.0.2.0 to 2.4.0.2.0 [Release 2.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We are testing our integration between CCB-FWPIP-MWM and receive an error message when trying to make an appointment booking request:

SYSUSER - 119854-588-1 2015-03-07 08:35:00,602 [[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] ERROR (support.context.SessionExecutable) Caught exception from SessionExecutable.execute()
java.lang.NullPointerException

We are able to send FAs from CCB to MWM and back. However, the issue now is with the NullPointerException when doing the appointment booking request in CCB.

Our environment is different than most as we are not using the MPL to pass messages to FWPIP but rather allowing FWPIP to access the NDS record in CCB. We realize this is not how the appointment booking message works, but we wanted to make sure this was known while you are troubleshooting this issue.
