Symptoms
After changing the dimension sort order from "Frequency (Dynamic Ranking)" to "Dimension Default", the production Oracle Commerce ATG instances became unresponsive which can cause a site outage.
The servers showed blocked threads and GC logging indicates that the servers were running out of memory.

The dimension sort order was changed from "Frequency (Dynamic Ranking)" to "Dimension Default".
