Goal

Q1: ASAP 7.2.0 supports only Active-Passive HA environment. In Production, ASAP will be installed on Exalogic Vserver and the database is on an Exadata Machine. Also, OTD will be used for load balancing for other COTS products. However, as per Oracle, OTD should be bypassed for ASAP.

Please provide HA solution for Oracle ASAP specific to Exalogic Vserver . How will high availability will be achieved in this case?

Q2: Can we use Oracle Clusterware for Oracle ASAP application Active-Passive setup. If yes, is separate License required for support?

Also, provide the steps to implement Oracle Clusterware in WebLogic.

Q3 Has Oracle deployed ASAP on Exalogic using Active-Passive cluster? If yes, provide details for this?

Q4: What cluster software is used in this case specifically on Exalogic? Can user use Oracle clusterware as cluster software for ASAP Active -Passive application support?
