Can ASAP Communicate Synchronously with Northbound Systems? (Doc ID 2009444.1)

Goal

We have different ASAP systems integrated with different northbound (NB) systems. In one of our systems, the requirement is to have synchronous communications with the  NB system. As of today, we are using an asynchronous interface in ASAP using JMS queues (Java SRP (XML/JMS)).

We would like to know if ASAP can support synchronous communication with the Northbound system?
