Last updated on MARCH 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Product Collaboration - Version 9.3.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
Item Num/Level is converted to numeric in Excel format of BOM Comparison Report
 - Leading 0 is truncated
e.g. Item Num: 0002231 is shown as '2231'
 - .1 representing BOM level is converted to '0.1'
   e.g. Level: .1 is shown as '0.1'
This is not a display issue. The data in Excel is stored as numeric format. ('2231', not '0002231' is stored in Excel)

Expected Behavior
Item Num/Level is not converted to numeric in Excel format of BOM Comparison Report

Steps
1. Login to Web Client
2. Create 2 assemblies
Assembly1:
0002231
-00022311
 -000223111
-00022312
Assembly2:
0002232
-00022321
3. Run BOM Comparison Report
   Output Format=Excel
   Item: 0002231, 0002232
4. BOM_Comparison_Report.xls is generated.
Number is shown like '2231','22311' instead of '0002231','00022311'
Level is shown like '0.1' instead of '.1'
(Other levels are shown correctly as '..2')
