Symptoms

On : 7.5.0.9.0 version, Upgrade

Issue:

After installing patchset 9, the script pin_75_75ps9_upgrade.pl was executed. On doing this action, the pin conf file in CMT folder got updated with an incorrect path for mta log file.

Actual behavior:

Below is the path updated in the CMTs pin conf file :

             - pin_mta logfile ${PIN_LOG_DIR}/pin_install_upgrade.pl/pin_install_upgrade.pl.pinlog

Expected behavior:

The correct path should be :

             - pin_mta logfile ${PIN_LOG_DIR}/cmt/cmt_mta.pinlog

Steps to reproduce:

1. In fresh environment, installed 7.5 PS6
2  Install the ./7.5PS9_ThirdParty_linux_32_opt.bin and source /opt/portal/7.5/ThirdPartyApps/source.me.csh
3. Make sure the perl link of PIN_HOME/bin/perl is pointing to latest perl version [ 5.18.2].
4. Install ./7.5PS9_19133869_Portal_Base_linux_32_opt.bin and source /opt/portal/7.5/source.me.csh
5. Install ./7.5PS9_PortalBase_Upgrade_75_75PS_linux_32_opt.bin
6. Took the backup of pin.conf [from CMT folder].
7. Run pin_75_75ps9_upgrade.pl (This gave error about aes.pm not found. So corrected the PERL5LIB and executed the pl file again).
8. Installation went fine .
9. Check cmt/pin.conf file, it has wrong path for the log file.
