Problem With UIM Patch Installer

You have downloaded the UIM Patch provided and applied the patch found the following problems after applying it:

1) Applying the patch requires to manually add a Data Source for Job Scheduler (MultiInventoryTXDataSource) for uim_cluster. Otherwise you get the error: “Unable to deploy EJB: TimerBean from inventoryEJB.jar” in server logs

2) I had to retarget the "oracle.communications.inventory" deployment to uim_cluster. Even though the target details haven’t changed. I simply had to remove the targets, activate changes, add targets and activate changes. Prior to this, the UIM Web GUI was not accessible (“Error 404 – Not Found”)

3) Retargeting the oracle.communications.inventory deployment to uim_cluster also removes the membership of the "uimadmin" user from the uimuser role. So in the end uimadmin doesn’t have the permission to access UIM Web GUI.

Customer wants to have patch which does not involve manual steps to make application functional.
