The report generation process is failing, and no reports are generated.
How the report generation process is initiated does not matter, if the report generation process is manually initiated in the Endeca Application Controller (EAC) Admin Console on the Workbench, it fails.
If the report generation process automatically triggers, it also fails.
There are warnings in the report generation logs of "Failed to obtain lock."
There are warnings in the [EndecaApplicationFolder]/logs/[ApplicationName].x.x.log files of "WARNING: Failed to obtain lock."
The reporting pages within the Workbench may state: "No reports found in directory 'daysofar' "
There was a failure at some point of the Endeca ITL server, the Logserver, or the EAC Tomcat in the recent past.
