KILL ENGINE WORKFLOW IS NOT ENDING AND CONTINUES TO RUN (Doc ID 2016260.1)

Goal

Customer is on 7301 and they have created a workflow to stop the engine
They have used an executable step in the workflow and have issued the following in the command line

"D:\Oracle Demantra Spectrum\Demand Planner\Analytical Engines\bin\KillProcess" EngineManager.exe

However the workflow when started, continues to run and does not stop unless they terminate the workflow. The workflow does kills the engine process. But after killing the engine process it continues to run unless the workflow is terminated manually.
Expectation is that once the workflow has killed the engine process, it should exit out

The collaborator logs all through shows
