RPM Batches Failing With Connection Error After Upgrading To Version 13.2.8

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Running Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM) version 13.2.8, RPM batches frequently failing with Java connection error in the middle of execution.
The batch completes successfully after the RPM application server is bounced and batch is restarted.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup some price changes.
2. Run the PriceInjector batch to approve price changes.
3. Run the PriceEventExecution batch to execute the price changes.
