USSD Dialed String is Limited to 32 Characters (Doc ID 2017688.1)

Last updated on JULY 25, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.0 to 5.0.3 [Release 4.4 to 5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC), a problem exists with the Unstructured Supplementary Services Data (USSD) dialed string being limited to 32 characters.  If more than 32 characters are dialed, only the first 32 characters will be recorded.

As a result, services that require the full string in order to perform service logic will likely fail or be unreliable.
