High CPU Time On MMP System (Doc ID 2018860.1)

Last updated on JUNE 22, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 5.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an unusually high load average on one of several MMP systems. The others are all normal. This is a newer system just put into production.

Removing this MMP system from the load balancer causes the load on this system to return to 0.

Running prstat showed there are two AService processes and vmstat shows 1% user; 50% system; and 49% idle

The MMP systems are local zones on different servers. The two having the problem are both on the same new server chasis.

Changes

These are new MMP systems being added to the deployment.
