IScript 7.5.11 : Decimal Variables Cause Pipeline Crash
Last updated on DECEMBER 14, 2017
Applies to:Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 126.96.36.199.0 to 188.8.131.52.0 [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
After upgrading to BRM 7.5.11, BRM pipelines start up successfully, however while processing EDRs, there is some GENERIC issue within custom iScripts:
Issue : Pipeline crashes with "Attempt to exit due to signal caught: SIGSEGV" when variable of type Decimal gets 0 assigned within iScript
eg: Decimal xx_cust_test = 0;
The following assignments work correctly, however:
Decimal xx_cust_test = 0.0;
Decimal xx_cust_test = strToDecimal("0");
Is the non-working assignment with a 0 a new feature to be taken care of or is it an issue?
