IScript 7.5 PS11 : Decimal Variables Cause Pipeline Crash (Doc ID 2019537.1)

Last updated on MARCH 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

After upgrading to BRM 7.5 PS11, BRM pipelines start up successfully, however while processing EDRs, there is some GENERIC issue within custom iScripts:

Issue : Pipeline crashes with "Attempt to exit due to signal caught: SIGSEGV" when variable of type Decimal gets 0 assigned within iScript

eg: Decimal <CUST>_test = 0;

The following assignments work correctly, however:

Decimal <CUST>_test = 0.0;

Decimal <CUST>_test = strToDecimal("0");

Is the non-working assignment with a 0 a new feature to be taken care of or is it an issue?
