slee_acs Crashes Due to Database Connection Error: ORA-03135: connection lost contact (Doc ID 2019635.1)

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 5.0.2 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)


On Oracle Network Charging and Control (NCC) Service Logic Controllers (SLCs), the slee_acs process will crash and leave a core if it's connection to the Oracle Database (DB) is lost.

From the slee_acs log file, the following errors may have been logged:

Alternatively, the backtrace of the core will show that slee_acs crashed while calling functions within Oracle client libraries:
