Symptoms

Single Sign-On (SSO) login attempt to Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM) application fails with an 'Error: Unable to authenticate user.' exception. Below message is displayed:

 
Upon entering same username/password again, login is successful.

Note: This is not the same issue as described in <Document 1943476.1> - SSO for RPM 13.2.8 Double Prompts for Login, as there is no error message displayed during the first attempt where that note applies.
