Events In Calendar Overlap Instead Of Being Displayed Side-by-side
(Doc ID 2020085.1)
Last updated on APRIL 29, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0 to 3.0.1 [Release 3.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The display of events seem to be overlapping in some cases. instead of side by side
This issue is seen in the day, week and next-7 days calendar views.
For example:
- If there is an event1 from 1:00-6PM and another event2 from 3-4PM, then the display is correct.
- If another event3 is added from 2-2:30PM, then this event3 is shown correctly, whereas, the event2 (3-4PM) gets overlapped with the long duration event1 . i.e. the first fully overlapping event is shown separately (in a separate column), whereas, the others are not shown in that way (the event display overlaps with the long duration event).
- Now, when another event4 is added from 2:15-3:15PM (fully overlapping with event1 and also overlapping with event2 and event3), then all events are shown in separate columns. i.e. if an event overlaps fully with a longer duration event and also overlaps (even partially) with another event, then the display is in separate columns.
