Last updated on NOVEMBER 18, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing - Version 6.1.1.1 to 6.1.1.1 [Release 6]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

After installing Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) 6.1.1.1 on Solaris, when you run an FTP Process, it fails immediately and no log file is created in $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps.

When you check the nohup.out file in $FIC_DB_HOME/bin that contains the messages output by the agentstartup.sh script, you see the following error for the FTP Process:

Warning: iso88951 does not exist.
Host IP--> xx.xxx.xx.xxx
HostIP...    xx.xxx.xx.xxx
Port...    xxxx

 | strBatchId : INFODOM_TESTBATCH1_20150504_1     | strComponentId : Transfer Pricing Engine     | Process ID : 204302     | User  ID : USER1     | AS_OF_DATE : 05/04/2015
sh: syntax error at line 1: `^' unexpected
Unable to get database details from ofsextsms, so exiting

Allocations execute successfully.  Only the FTP processes get this error.

The same error occurs if the user executes the ofstp executable directly on the server.

This issue prevents you from executing all FTP Processes.
